One year later, Renewed Hope is thriving

It’s been more than a year since Renewed Hope, our men’s Life Recovery Program, moved from Hollywood to its new, beautiful home in Northridge, just down the street from our family shelter. The re-opening celebration gave staff, supporters, and community members the chance to see the new buildings, resident rooms, and expansive outdoor space. It was an inspiring evening to say the least. But what’s occurred on the property since then has been even more amazing.

Renewed Hope has served as refuge for men struggling with homelessness, addiction, and more. We have seen seven men graduate the program—they are living happier, healthier, and more stable lives. Three men are enrolled in college and four are gainfully employed. They are earning livable wages and have found stable housing. Men are breaking free from their addictions, reconnecting with their families, and becoming involved in local churches where they can celebrate the love of Jesus.

As we reflect on the past year, we have much to be thankful for. You are at the top of that list. Because of you, lives are changing. All of our services are free for any participant, and that is only possible because of your generous support.

There are still so many opportunities to partner with us here at Rescue Mission Alliance San Fernando Valley. We hope you’ll consider getting more involved and coming alongside us in order to change lives for good.
