Stories that Inspire.

Victories to Celebrate.

After a busy year, the Mission will focus on offering even more in 2021

SFVRM

In 2020, the pandemic and related closures only led to greater need in our community. We continued to provide COVID-safe street outreaches, a pop-up food pantry, our men’s recovery program, and shelter for families and single women. The year brought new levels of management to bear, but our staff and volunteers have rallied and adapted to provide for individuals’ needs with the necessary precautions.

Our shower program remained out in the community, providing hot showers, meals and other services for those in need on the streets. We saw an increase in visitors, and used the opportunity to connect them with our volunteers and case managers. Staff not only assisted with haircuts, clothing, and hygiene products, but distributed face masks and hand sanitizer whenever possible.

In 2021, we are excited to offer longer term programs for families and single women at our Home Again Family Success Center, more beds in our Renewed Hope men’s program, and a second shower trailer in our Survival Outreach Services on the streets. Together, we’ll provide even more life changing resources.
