I was referred to the Rescue Mission Alliance San Fernando Valley and that’s where the miracle happened. Instead of feeling like the world was against me, I saw people giving their time unselfishly, bringing food for us, and taking time to just sit and talk. It was amazing to see that; just when I felt like nobody cared, I was blessed to see just the opposite.

Generous donations were brought weekly. I no longer had to sleep in my car; we had a clean, safe place to sleep. I had hope again. Now, thanks to Rescue Mission Alliance San Fernando Valley, we were able to get our own place. We are so very grateful for all that was done for us. Now, where there was doubt and pain, there is hope… and I carry that with me.
